Ascentia Holdings Corporation and Taiyo Yuhka Corporation (Itabashi-ku, Tokyo; President: Tahei Ishida) have established a joint venture company, TOKYO8 GLOBAL, to develop TOKYO8MICRO FRANHCISE, which improves agricultural production at low cost for small-scale farming in developing and emerging countries. Its activities won the Deputy Director-General (Minister of Foreign Affairs) Award at the Japanese government’s 6th Japan SDGs Awards in March 2023.
