A company where one longs for Monday?<br \/>\nTo put it more accurately.<br \/>\nCan\u2019t wait for a day off, the company you go to reluctantly.<br \/>\nA company where you are selling out moments of your life in exchange for money.<br \/>\nConversely, a company where you do work you long to do, work you enjoy.<br \/>\nOf course, salary is important, but a company where you feel value in what you do or in the content of your work.<br \/>\nCompany\u2019s ideal way is now being questioned. What is a company and what is an enterprise?<br \/>\n\u201cWhat does it mean to work?\u201d is now questioned.<\/p>\n<p>The human animal craves social belonging.<br \/>\nIf you understand the value of your existence within society, your job becomes absurdly enjoyable, and you can have a truly delightful life.<br \/>\nConversely, there is nothing more mortifying than to think of your occupation as work.<\/p>\n<p>In my previous company (restaurant business), I kept telling the following story to employees and partners (part-timers):<br \/>\nThere are two people working on loading bricks on the road shoulder. I asked one:<br \/>\n\u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d<br \/>\nThe person replied:<br \/>\n\u201cI am piling bricks.\u201d<br \/>\nI asked the other one the same question:<br \/>\n\u201cWhat are you doing?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI am building a church.<br \/>\nI am building a church, so that the neighborhood people can have place of serenity.<br \/>\nI want to be useful for everyone.\u201d<br \/>\nThose two perform exactly the same task.<br \/>\nOne\u2019s work is piling bricks.<br \/>\nThe other one, his work brims with dreams of social values&#8230;<br \/>\nThe way of thinking, conceptualization differences, make such a huge difference.<br \/>\nThe same thing is happening in any corporation and in any task.<br \/>\nIt is necessary to understand what lies ahead for your task, and its social meaning.<br \/>\nIt is necessary for companies and management to make them understand.<br \/>\nSun Tzu\u2019s\u00a0 \u201cThe Art of War\u201d is management\u2019s favorite book.<br \/>\nWhat is the most important and written in the beginning in this book?<\/p>\n<p>The art of war, then, is governed by five constant factors, to be taken into account in one&#8217;s deliberations, when seeking to determine the conditions obtaining in the field.<\/p>\n<p>These are: (1) The Moral Law; (2) Heaven; (3) Earth; (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.<\/p>\n<p>The strategy for a company is to take the following into consideration; Heaven \u201cmother nature and its law\u201d, Earth \u201cgeological conditions, The Commander\u201d Management ability\u201d, Method and discipline \u201cmilitary power\u201d<\/p>\n<p>More important than these four, and first thing that Sun Tzu addressed was \u201cThe Moral Law \u2013 The Way\u201d<br \/>\nThis is the enterprise\u2019s corporate philosophy.<\/p>\n<p>Things that bring everyone\u2019s hearts together and influence society by their existential values.<br \/>\nThis is the most important thing, without this an organization can\u2019t succeed.<br \/>\nAn organization without this is weak and brittle.<br \/>\nBecause it does not have a core<br \/>\nUnfortunately, such companies are increasing in number.<br \/>\nA company, where you merely perform a nine to five job.<em><br \/>\n<\/em>Do what you are told, be at the mercy of the enterprise. There is no future in such a company.<br \/>\nIt is so important that each individual employee can find social value in what they do.<br \/>\nAny work should have social value.
